Walmart's Commander in Teach - Nominate Oregon Teachers!
For more than 50 years, customers have shopped with us to get back to school. And although it's still mid-summer in Oregon, we are getting ready for students and teachers. We know a successful school year is about more than just stocking up on the right supplies - it starts with the commander of the classroom, our teachers.
According to recentresearch[i], teachers reach into their own pockets to spend, on average, $490 of their own money to get their classroom ready and to make sure their students have everything they need.
